DARK – Netflix Unanswered Questions

Netflix sci-fi time travel series dark released its third and final season of series. The series is known for the unanswered question it leaves at every end of the season since it premiered it final season people expect answers for the all unanswered question.

But there is some unsolved question lying inside it. We’ve listed some of the unanswered questions from the series DARK.

What’s the explanation behind the moving scars?

You’ve probably noticed that the scar on Martha’s cheek (below her eye) moves a few times. It changes sides, to be precise. The same goes for the trio (boy, adult, and old man) that walk around together. They are one and the same person, which is revealed upon the introduction of this character due to their matching cleft palate scars.

This person is, as covered in the previous answer, the son of Jonas Kahnwald and Martha Nielsen. Not the Martha Nielsen from seasons 1 and 2, but the B World Martha. Essentially, this makes the person a product of two people from different worlds.

Why does the Trio always travel together?

Trio, the son of Jonas and Martha, a product of two worlds. He says that he has no name and he is the start and end of the loop. but why he always travels with his young, adult, and older self. it never answered why. and it also states that he is Jonas and Martha’s great grandfather. He is a person who keeps the loop alive. who ensure the everything will happen as if the same as every time

Who is Tronte’s father?

In the 1950s, a young Tronte (Joshio Marlon) revealed to a young Claudia (Gwendolyn Göbel) that he was living in a home prior to relocating to Winden in 1953 with his mother, Agnes Nielsen. We can assume that he was in a home because Agnes was working for Sic Mundus and his father wasn’t in the picture, but who is Tronte’s father? According to a conversation Agnes had with Doris Tiedemann (Luise Heyer), he was a man of the church before he died. But is he actually dead? Like Regina’s father, his identity has been hidden from us, and there has to be a reason for it.

Where is season 2’s Detective Clausen long lost brother?

This is just one of those unsolved mysteries. We never get an actual answer to this. Once again, there are theories and hints here and there. However, an actual and definitive answer is not given.

Just like in real life, there are things (crimes, especially) that will always remain unsolved.

Is Jonas dead?

Actually, by changing the events that opened up the portal, Jonas and Martha didn’t exactly die. Instead, they changed circumstances so much that they never came into existence.

The final line in the Dark season 3 ending is Hannah saying she always liked the name Jonas when asked if they’ve decided on a name for the child.

Yes, this does mean that a child named Jonas will come into existence. However, since Mikkel is never born and therefore cannot father the Jonas we know, this child will be a different Jonas.

Why isn’t Ulrich in the final scene?

The unnatural part of Jonas and Martha’s existence did not begin with Mikkel traveling back in time from 2019 to 1986. It began with Mikkel’s father, Ulrich Nielsen, who is also the father of Martha and Magnus.

And we have to go further back to explain why Ulrich Nielsen cannot exist.

Ulrich is the son of Tronte Nielsen. And Tronte Nielsen is the son of Agnes Nielsen and the nameless man (the origin).

Also, both Agnes and Noah are actually the children of Bartosz Tiedemann and Silja Kahnwald. They had two kids while being trapped in the 1920s.

Alternate Timeline?

fact that Jonas and Martha saved the clockmaker, H.G. Tannhaus, family, this one event could change the entire course of action.

sure it will stop H.G Tannhaus, from creating two mirror worlds. but it creates an alternate reality in which the three people who are supposed to die will live

This could be another DARK universe unsolved mystery.

Where did Adam take Silja Kahnwald?

You all know that Silja Kahnwald was the stepsister of Jonas(Adam) when Hannah came to visit Jonas in 1920. He kills Hannah and takes Silja and says she doesn’t belong here(in that timeline).

Actually, Jonas(Adam) took her to the future when young Jonas travels to the future in season one He encounters the adult Elizbeth, she has translated to help her, she has the same birth scar as young Silja. Maybe Jonas (Adam) took her to the future. To help for his bigger cause.

What happened to Torben Wöller’s eye?

Torben Wöller is the police officer with the eye patch in Jonas’ world and without his left arm in Martha’s world, there is no particular explanation for what happened to them in the mirror world. whereas Torben Wöller has an eye injury in the original world and it nearly really revealed what really happened.

Who survives in Dark season 3?

Survival is definitely isn’t the correct word to use since it’s more about who naturally exists. All the people/characters, who only exist due to time travel, will cease to exist.

During the final scene, we see the six characters who actually exist in the natural world.

This means the following remain:

• Katharina – but not Ulrich or their kids: Magnus, Martha or Mikkel
• Regina – who does not get cancer in this world
• Hannah – but not Jonas since his father Mikkel never exists
• Peter Doppler – but not his wife Charlotte nor their children Elisabeth and Franziska.
• Torben Wöller – the police officer with the eye patch (or missing arm in B World)
• Benni – the trans woman we knew as living a miserable life in a trailer and having an affair with Peter Doppler

That’s it really… obviously, their parents exist as well, but that’s it.

What’s with the Yellow Jacket?

Throughout the whole three seasons, the Yellow Jacket has been seen often; it has been a totem for the existence of two mirror worlds because it exists in all three worlds.

In season one young Jonas uses the Yellow Jacket.

Season two young Martha uses the Yellow Jacket

In season three finale Hannah sees the Yellow Jacket before naming her unborn child as Jonas.
