Many of us are always fanatic and also envying about motorsports. The way the sport is played really does have created great loyal fans around the globe. Performance cars nowadays on the streets and the tracks may be cool but it started all with one ideal formula. Yes, this article contains plenty of pieces of information on the technical history. Also the transition of the most popular motorsport event which is known as Formula One (F1) Grand Prix.

History of FORMULA ONE

The world formula defines the set of rules and limitations that is to be followed by participants (constructors and drivers). The name Grand Prix is derived from French language means (Grand or Great prizes). Formula one is a single-seater motor racing event which is conducted by FIA (Federation Internationale de I’Automobile) owned by formula one group.

The world championships of Formula has inaugurated in the year 1950. It is conducted globally in all racing arenas which is dedicatedly built for racing. The races are generally conducted at Grade one or Grade A tracks, which is known well as the highest grade issued by FIA. Every car is strictly inspected by a panel of FIA officials to ensure that they meet the rules and limitations. If it’s found violated, the officials have rights to deduct points, avail position penalty in the points a table, finally may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

After World War 2, the success formula for F1 races have been set and the first official championship race was held at Silverstone, the United Kingdom in 1950. Followed by this, in 1958 the constructors championship was brought into account.

The first World Championship for Drivers was won by Italian Giuseppe Farina in his Alfa Romeo in 1950, narrowly defeating his Argentine teammate Juan Manuel Fangio. He also won the continuous championship titles in 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956, and 1957. This record of five World Championship titles stood for 45 years and remained un-chased until German driver Michael Schumacher (Ferrari driver) took his sixth title in 2003. Famous European car manufacturers were turned into constructors and continued their rivalry in tracks. Some of them are Mercedes, Alfa romeo, Ferrari and Maseratti.
