KTM RC 125 price, specification and launch date

Guess the reason behind the anticipation between young motorbike enthusiasts and a famous Austrian motorcycle manufacturer? Yes it’s all about the Austrian performance motorcycle manufacturer KTM!. The KTM has planned to launch two lower capacity bikes namely RC 125 and Duke 125 in the upcoming week or by mid of July 2019. The RC 125 spotted at many places while testing and some of the dealers have initiated the pre booking process too. Let’s have a quick look about the package.

The mini beast

All new KTM RC125 is powered by 125cc liquid cooled engine with max power of 14.5ps @ 9250rpm and max torque if 12Nm @ 8000rpm. The engine is mated with six speed manual gearbox. The wet multi plate clutch enables the rider a smooth shifts between the gears. The bike comes with a single channel ABS as default. The instrument cluster is compact hence fully digital. The mileage is said to be about 40-45kmpl approx with a top speed of cruising 120+ kmph. The kerb weight of the vehicle is 135kgs and with fuel tank capacity of 10litres.

Design and chassis of KTM RC 125

The bike resembles the design accents of RC200 with same design structures. There is no major changes could be spotted. With clip on handle bars, very own sporty riding position is backed up. The chassis is made up of tubular steel frame. Rear wheel and swing arm is mounted with a mono shock suspension and front wheel has USD folks. Which makes the beast little costlier.

KTM RC 125 Expected price and rivals

The KTM RC 125 is expected to be priced with bracket closed to Rs.1.40 Lakhs, which sounds whooping for a 125cc sports bike. But the bike got some promising performance figures which may lead this segment once it has launched. The KTM RC 125 Rivals Yamaha R15 V3 ABS is priced at Rs. 1, 39,680/- (Ex showroom) and Suzuki gixxer sf is at  Rs.1, 10,000 (Ex showroom).
