Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited on 2019 launched Suzuki Gixxer 250 a full-faired 250 cc sport touring motorcycle from the makers of Hayabusa and GSX-R. The new Suzuki Gixxer 250 gets all-new details, with stunning bodywork, With a new four-valve, single overhead cam, single-cylinder engine with Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) and LED lighting.
The Suzuki Gixxer SG F 250 is powered by an all-new 249 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine with output of 26 bhp at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque.
The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and has Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS), which is said to help cool the engine even after prolonged use at high revs. Which makes a better option for a tourers.
The bike is equipped with dual channel ABS and Fully digital instrument cluster. Suzuki claims an actual fuel economy figure of 38.5 kmpl. But the engine is not updated to BS-VI standard.
The company offer various attachments and accessories with the bike but on extra charges only. Like DC mobile charging port, tank cover, Tank sticker, Wheel rim sticker, dark smoked visor and set covers.
The brand new Suzuki Gixxer 250 is available in two different color options to choose from. They are Metallic Matte Platunim Silver and Metallic Matte black. The 360 deg view of this bike with choosable color option is available at Suzuki official website.
The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is priced at 1,70,655 (ex-showroom Delhi), and its expected to rivals the Honda CBR250R (1,94,932) and the Yamaha Fazer 25 (1,43,680), KTM RC250 (2.20Lakhs) Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 ABS (1,39,386) And TVS apache RR310 (2,27 Lakhs)
